Rifidor 200mg Tablet is an antibiotic medicine used to treat infectious diarrhea.
Tablet
Rifidor 200mg Tablet can be used alone or in combination with other medicines. It may be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time each day. It should be used in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Take it at the same time each day to get the most benefit and you should keep on taking this medicine for as long as you are prescribed. Stopping it early may make the infection to come back and harder to treat.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Rifidor 200mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Some people may develop side effects like vomiting, headache, constipation, vomiting, fever, abdominal pain, and nausea.
It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Rifidor 200mg Tablet. Please consult your doctor.

You have been prescribed Rifidor 200mg Tablet for the treatment of infectious diarrhea. It should only be taken for a maximum of three days. If your symptoms do not improve after three days, inform your doctor. Do not take a second course of Rifidor 200mg Tablet. It may cause reddish discoloration of urine. This is normal and harmless. Stop taking Rifidor 200mg Tablet and inform your doctor if your diarrhoea gets worse or starts to contain blood or mucus. Finish the full course of the medication even if you feel better. Stopping the course early increases the risk of coming back of the infection.
The duration of Rifidor 200mg Tablet treatment will depend on the specific condition being treated. It's usually prescribed for three days in traveler's diarrhea cases and for 14 days in irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) cases.
