How it works

Rifaster 200mg Tablet is an antibiotic. Rifaster 200mg Tablet inhibits the bacteria's ability to make proteins and stops the growth of bacteria that cause infectious diarrhea.

Direction of use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Rifaster 200mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Tips

• You have been prescribed Rifaster 200mg Tablet for the treatment of infectious diarrhea.
• It should only be taken for a maximum of three days. If your symptoms do not improve after three days, inform your doctor. Do not take a second course of Rifaster 200mg Tablet.
• It may cause reddish discoloration of urine. This is normal and harmless.
• Stop taking Rifaster 200mg Tablet and inform your doctor if your diarrhoea gets worse or starts to contain blood or mucus.
• Finish the full course of the medication even if you feel better. Stopping the course early increases the risk of coming back of the infection.
