Rether L 80mg/480mg Tablet is used for the treatment of malaria in both children and adults. It contains two antimalarial medicines. Rether L 80mg/480mg Tablet works by killing the malaria-causing parasites, thereby preventing further spread of the infection. It should be taken with food to help your body better absorb the medicine. Take it in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Do not take more than the recommended dose, as this may have harmful effects on your body. Complete the full course of treatment to ensure the infection is treated completely. Common side effects include headache, loss of appetite, weakness, joint pain, or muscle pain. You may also feel dizzy after taking this medicine. Inform your doctor if these persist or worsen. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should not take this medicine unless prescribed by the doctor, as it may have harmful effects on the developing baby.
Rether L 80mg/480mg Tablet is a combination of two antiparasitic medicines: Artemether and Lumefantrine, which treat malaria.
