Relo CF Dry Syrup is an antibiotic medicine that treats bacterial infections in children and adolescents. Relo CF Dry Syrup is an antibiotic medicine that treats bacterial infections that may affect your child's eyes, ears, nose, throat, lungs, skin, bone and joints, gastrointestinal tract, and urinary tract. It can also be used in treating typhoid fever in children and adolescents. Give Relo CF Dry Syrup to your child orally, preferably at a fixed time, either before or after meals. In case your child develops a stomach upset, prefer giving it with meals. The dose and duration depend upon the type and severity of the infection, your child's age, and body weight, so stick to the dose, time, and way prescribed by the doctor.
Relo CF Dry Syrup contains two antibiotics. Cefixime works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) while ofloxacin directly interacts with the genetic material of bacteria. As a consequence, the infection-causing bacteria stop growing further and the spread of the infection is successfully arrested.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Dissolve the powder in sterile water. Shake well and use. Relo CF Dry Syrup is to be taken with food.
Alcohol
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Relo CF Dry Syrup.
Breastfeed
Relo CF Dry Syrup is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Pregnancy
Relo CF Dry Syrup may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
