What is Pulmorest LS Expectorant?
Pulmorest LS Expectorant is a combination of three medicines: Ambroxol, Levosalbutamol / Levalbuterol, and Guaifenesin. It is used to treat coughs with mucus production. Ambroxol acts as a mucolytic, thinning and loosening the phlegm for easier coughing. Levosalbutamol is a bronchodilator that relaxes airway muscles, widening the airways. Guaifenesin acts as an expectorant, decreasing the stickiness of mucus to facilitate its removal from the airways.
Is Pulmorest LS Expectorant safe to use?
Pulmorest LS Expectorant is generally considered safe for most patients. However, some may experience common side effects like nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, allergic reactions, dizziness, headache, rash, urticaria, tremor, palpitations, muscle cramps, and increased heart rate.
