Pulmoday 20mg Tablet is a medicine used to treat high blood pressure in the blood vessels that supply the lungs (pulmonary arterial hypertension). It relieves breathlessness and improves exercise capacity in men and women. Pulmoday 20mg Tablet belongs to a group of medicines known as phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE 5) inhibitors. It may be taken on an empty stomach or with a meal but it should be taken at a fixed time each day. The dose and how often you need to take it will be decided by your doctor so that you get the right amount to control your symptoms. Follow the advice of your doctor. It is important to take this medicine regularly and for as long as you are advised even if you feel well. Missing doses may lead to the worsening of your condition.
Pulmoday 20mg Tablet is a phosphodiesterase (PDE-5) inhibitor. It works by relaxing the blood vessels in your lungs thereby reducing the high blood pressure in the lungs. This allows your heart to work less to pump blood in your lungs.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Pulmoday 20mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
- Pulmoday 20mg Tablet is used to treat high pressure in the blood vessels that carry blood from the heart to the lungs (the pulmonary arteries).
- Do not use other medicines (nitrates or nitroglycerin) when taking Pulmoday 20mg Tablet as it could drop your blood pressure to a dangerous level.
- Do not consume alcohol while taking Pulmoday 20mg Tablet as that may increase the blood pressure-lowering effects of Pulmoday 20mg Tablet.
- Stop taking Pulmoday 20mg Tablet and immediately inform your doctor if you notice loss of vision in one or both eyes or sudden loss of hearing with ringing sensation in your ear.
- Do not stop taking the medication suddenly without talking to your doctor as that may lead to worsening of your symptoms.

Alcohol
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Pulmoday 20mg Tablet.
Breastfeed
Pulmoday 20mg Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Pregnancy
Pulmoday 20mg Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
