Prelus M 750mg/75mg Capsule is a prescription medication designed to treat neuropathic pain. It works by modulating calcium channel activity in nerve cells, thereby reducing pain. This medicine also helps protect nerve fibers and heal damaged nerve cells. While generally well-tolerated, it may cause side effects such as dizziness or sleepiness. Patients are advised not to drive or engage in activities requiring concentration until they understand how the medication affects them. Alcohol consumption should be avoided as it may exacerbate drowsiness. Consult your doctor before discontinuing the medication or if you experience any unusual changes in mood or behavior.

Prelus M 750mg/75mg Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Methylcobalamin and Pregabalin. Methylcobalamin is a form of vitamin B which helps in the production of myelin, a substance that protects nerve fibers and rejuvenates damaged nerve cells. Pregabalin is an alpha 2 delta ligand which decreases the pain by modulating calcium channel activity of the nerve cells. Together, they relieve neuropathic pain (pain from damaged nerves).

You have been prescribed Prelus M 750mg/75mg Capsule for treating and preventing nerve pain. Its side effects are usually mild and temporary. It may cause dizziness or sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you. To lower the chances of feeling dizzy or passing out, rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down. Avoid consuming alcohol when taking Prelus M 750mg/75mg Capsule as it may cause excessive sleepiness. Inform your doctor if you develop any unusual changes in mood or behavior, new or worsening depression, or suicidal thoughts or behavior. Do not stop taking the medication suddenly without talking to your doctor.
