PL 20 Doxy LB Capsule is a combination medicine used to treat various types of bacterial infections, preventing the growth of microorganisms that cause the infection and diarrhea. PL 20 Doxy LB Capsule is a prescription medicine that should be taken as advised by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food, but it must be taken at a fixed time to ensure better efficacy. Do not consume more than the recommended dose, as this may have harmful effects on your body.
PL 20 Doxy LB Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Doxycycline and Lactobacillus.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. PL 20 Doxy LB Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
- Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
- Take it while you are sitting or standing to prevent any throat irritation.
- Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete.
- Discontinue the medicine and inform your doctor immediately if you get a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or have difficulty in breathing.
Alcohol
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with PL 20 Doxy LB Capsule.
Breastfeed
PL 20 Doxy LB Capsule is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Pregnancy
PL 20 Doxy LB Capsule is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks.
