Paradyne-DMR Tablet is a combination of a muscle relaxant (Chlorzoxazone) and two pain relieving medicines (Diclofenac and Paracetamol). The muscle relaxant works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm, thereby improving movement of muscles. The pain relieving medicines work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).
You have been prescribed Paradyne-DMR Tablet to relieve pain due to muscle spasm. This medicine is most effective when taken along with proper rest and physical therapy. Avoid consuming alcohol when taking Paradyne-DMR Tablet as it may cause excessive drowsiness and increase the risk of liver damage. Older adults may have increased drowsiness, confusion, and higher risk of falling as a result of taking Paradyne-DMR Tablet. Do not take it with any other medicine containing acetaminophen (drugs for pain/fever or cough-and-cold) without asking your doctor first.
Paradyne-DMR Tablet contains a combination of diclofenac, paracetamol, and chlorzoxazone. These medications work together to relieve muscle pain by lowering the levels of prostaglandins in the body that cause pain and inflammation.
Paradyne-DMR Tablet is generally safe, but like all medicines it can cause side effects. Some people experience nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, diarrhea, loss of appetite, dryness in the mouth, weakness, and drowsiness. If these side effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor immediately.
It's important to continue taking Paradyne-DMR Tablet as prescribed by your healthcare professional for the recommended duration. You can discontinue the medication if you are using it for short-term pain relief.
Yes, Paradyne-DMR Tablet may cause nausea and vomiting in some individuals. It is recommended to take this medication with food or milk and use antacids if you experience nausea. If vomiting occurs, drinking small amounts of water frequently is advised. Consult your doctor immediately if nausea or vomiting persists or you notice signs of dehydration such as dark urine, a low urine frequency, and fatigue.
Yes, some patients experience dizziness while taking this medication. If you feel faint, weak, unsteady, or lightheaded, it is advisable to rest for a short period and resume the medication when feeling better.
Long-term use of Paradyne-DMR Tablet may cause kidney damage. This occurs due to the medication's effect on prostaglandins, which protect the kidneys from harm. While these medications are generally safe when used correctly, long-term use can deplete prostaglandin levels and lead to kidney complications. Patients with pre-existing kidney disease should avoid or consult their doctor before taking this medication.
Overdosing on Paradyne-DMR Tablet can increase the risk of side effects. If you are experiencing increased pain severity or if the pain is not alleviated by the prescribed doses, consult your doctor for re-evaluation.
