Pantonol-LSR Capsule is a medicine used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (acid reflux) by relieving symptoms of acidity such as heartburn, stomach pain, or irritation. Pantonol-LSR Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Levosulpiride and Pantoprazole. It is used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (acid reflux) by relieving symptoms of acidity such as heartburn, stomach pain, or irritation. It also neutralizes the acid and promotes easy passage of gas to reduce stomach discomfort.
Pantonol-LSR Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Levosulpiride and Pantoprazole.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Pantonol-LSR Capsule is to be taken empty stomach.
- Take it one hour before the meal, preferably in the morning
- Inform your doctor if you get watery diarrhea or stomach pain that does not go away
- Do not consume alcohol while taking Pantonol-LSR Capsule as it can increase the risk of stomach damage
- Long-term use may cause weak or broken bones. Take adequate intake of dietary calcium and vitamin D or their supplements
- Do not take Pantonol-LSR Capsule for longer than prescribed
Alcohol
Pantonol-LSR Capsule may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.
Breastfeed
Pantonol-LSR Capsule is unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Data suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby.
Pregnancy
Pantonol-LSR Capsule is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.
