Pamaspas Tablet is a prescription medicine used to treat premenstrual syndrome (PMS) symptoms such as bloating, water weight gain, swelling, and abdominal cramps. Pamaspas Tablet is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. It is better to take it with food to avoid stomach upset. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends.
Pamaspas Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Paracetamol, Pamabrom, and Dicyclomine. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that causes pain. Pamabrom is a diuretic which increases urine production to remove excess water from the body and relieve premenstrual symptoms like bloating, water-weight gain, swelling and the feeling of being full. Dicyclomine is an anti-cholinergic which relaxes the muscles in the stomach and gut (intestine) and stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms). By doing this, it relieves cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Pamaspas Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
