Oxydin Injection is a combination medicine which helps in relieving pain. It is used to relieve pain and inflammation in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and osteoarthritis. It is also used to relieve muscle pain, back pain, toothache, or pain in the ear and throat.
Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self administer.

Oxydin Injection is a combination of three pain relieving medicines: Ibuprofen, Paracetamol and Dextropropoxyphene. Ibuprofen and Paracetamol work by blocking the chemical messengers in brain that cause pain and inflammation. Dextropropoxyphene works by blocking the transmission of pain signals to the brain thereby further decreasing pain perception.
Oxydin Injection is given to treat various painful conditions. Stick to simple meals and avoid spicy rich food in order to avoid feeling sick (nausea). Drink plenty of water while taking it. Do not take indigestion remedies (antacids) within two hours of taking this medicine. Do not take it with any other pain medicine without asking your doctor first.
