Oxevel Syrup is a combination medicine used in the treatment of acidity, stomach ulcer, and heartburn. Oxevel Syrup is taken without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Oxevel Syrup is a combination of two medicines: Sucralfate and Oxetacaine / Oxethazaine. Sucralfate is a medication to treat ulcers. It covers the damaged ulcer tissue in the stomach and protects it from acid or injury to facilitate healing. Oxetacaine / Oxethazaine is a local anesthetic whose numbing effect provides fast relief from pain caused due to ulcers or acidic injury in the stomach.
Why is Oxevel Syrup prescribed?
Oxevel Syrup is prescribed to treat symptoms of acidity, heartburn, and stomach ulcers caused by factors like excess acid in the stomach.
How should I take Oxevel Syrup?
Take Oxevel Syrup on an empty stomach at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals.
