How to use Optilube Eye Drop?
Wash your hands before applying Optilube Eye Drop to avoid contamination. Do not touch the tip of the dropper. If you wear contact lenses, remove them before using Optilube Eye Drop. For applying Optilube Eye Drop, tilt your head back, look up, and pull down the lower eyelid to make a pouch then put Optilube Eye Drop in the pouch.
Can the use of Optilube Eye Drop cause blurry vision?
Optilube Eye Drop may temporarily cause blurred vision. Avoid driving or operating machinery shortly after using Optilube Eye Drop.
What are the instructions for the storage and disposal of Optilube Eye Drop?
Keep this medication in the original container, tightly closed. Store it according to the directions on the package or label. Dispose of unused medication properly, ensuring it is not consumed by pets, children, or others.
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.
- Your doctor has prescribed Optilube Eye Drop to reduce dryness in the eyes.
- Do not touch the dropper tip or let it touch your eye or any other surface.
- Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute immediately after instilling the medication.
- Make sure to use it within 4 weeks of opening the bottle.
- Try to keep your environment less dry by reducing excessive use of room heaters or using a humidifier.
- Wear glasses or sunglasses to protect your eyes from wind and dust when out in a hot dry climate.
- Rest your eyes by taking regular breaks if you spend long periods in front of a screen.
