Odifex Oral Suspension is used to treat symptoms caused by allergic conditions such as hay fever, urticaria, conjunctivitis, and common cold in children. Odifex Oral Suspension is an antihistamine medication commonly prescribed for children to alleviate symptoms associated with allergic conditions like hay fever, urticaria (hives), conjunctivitis (red, itchy eyes), and the common cold. These symptoms include watery eyes, runny nose, sneezing, and itching. While effective, it may cause drowsiness or dizziness, and should be used with caution in children under 12 years of age due to the risk of respiratory distress. It is important to avoid administering this medication with fatty meals or fruit juice as they can reduce its absorption.
Odifex Oral Suspension belongs to a class of medicines called antihistamines. It blocks the natural chemical substance (histamine) produced in the body during an allergic state and lowers the immune system’s response to these conditions.
Administer Odifex Oral Suspension to your child as prescribed by the doctor. It is best given at the same time each day to help remember the dosage. Avoid giving it with fatty meals or fruit juice.
