Nortas CR 15 Tablet is a synthetic progestin. It works by mimicking the effects of natural progesterone (female hormone). It helps in regulating the growth and shedding of the womb lining thereby treating menstrual irregularities.

Direction of use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nortas CR 15 Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Tips

• Regulates menstrual cycles and treats a wide range of menstrual disorders such as heavy, painful periods, and endometriosis.
• May cause bleeding or spotting in between menstrual periods. Let your doctor know if this occurs frequently.
• Stop taking Nortas CR 15 Tablet and inform your doctor immediately if you get severe headaches, stabbing pains or swelling in one leg, pain while breathing, yellowing of your skin or sudden changes in your vision or hearing.
• Do not take Nortas CR 15 Tablet if you are pregnant. Use a non-hormonal method of contraception such as condoms to prevent pregnancy while you are taking this medication as it is not a contraceptive.
