You can develop tolerance to this medicine over time which means that the same dose becomes less effective. You have to stick to a really specific dosing schedule to prevent this from happening.
Nitrocontin 6.4 Tablet CR is a nitrate. It works by relaxing the blood vessels and increasing the supply of blood and oxygen to the heart while reducing its work load thereby preventing/treating attacks of angina (chest pain)
