Nicochest 5mg Tablet is used to prevent and treat heart-related chest pain (angina) by widening blood vessels and improving blood flow to the heart. Nicochest 5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food. It should be swallowed whole with water. Take this medicine regularly and at about the same time(s) each day. Your doctor will decide the dose and how often you should take it. This may change from time to time depending on how well it is working. Do not stop taking it without talking to your doctor as sudden withdrawal may cause your chest pain to come back. You can improve the health of your heart by making some lifestyle changes such as quitting smoking, cutting down on alcohol, eating well, exercising regularly, and managing stress. The most common side effect of this medicine is headache, especially during the first few days of treatment. This usually improves within a week. However, drinking plenty of fluids and avoiding alcohol may help. Other common side effects include dizziness or weakness, nausea, and flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck, and trunk). Talk to your doctor if these bother you or do not go away. Nicochest 5mg Tablet may not be suitable for some people. Inform your doctor if you have a history of low blood pressure or heart failure. Also let your doctor know about all other medications that you are using as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine. You should not take any medicines for erectile dysfunction with this medicine. Nicochest 5mg Tablet is not usually recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Nicochest 5mg Tablet is a vasodilator. It works by reducing the workload of the heart. As a result, heart muscle does not need as much blood and oxygen supply. It also relaxes the coronary artery (that carries blood to the heart). This reduces the frequency and severity of angina attacks.

People who are allergic to Nicochest 5mg Tablet or any of its ingredients should avoid this medication. Additionally, patients with pre-existing heart problems like cardiogenic shock, left ventricular failure with low filling pressure, or cardiac decompensation, and those with pulmonary edema (fluid buildup in the lungs) should not take Nicochest 5mg Tablet. Patients also taking medicines for erectile dysfunction (e.g., sildenafil, tadalafil, or vardenafil) or pulmonary hypertension (e.g., riociguat) should avoid this medication due to potential interaction.
Can Nicochest 5mg Tablet affect my sex life?
Nicochest 5mg Tablet does not typically impact sexual activity, however, taking medicines for erectile dysfunction (e.g., sildenafil, tadalafil) or premature ejaculation (e.g., vardenafil or dapoxetine) while using Nicochest 5mg Tablet together can lead to a significant drop in blood pressure.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Nicochest 5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Alcohol
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Nicochest 5mg Tablet.
Breastfeed
Nicochest 5mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Pregnancy
