Nasoloc-P Nasal Drops is a medicine that helps clear and soothes the blocked nose, thereby relieving nasal congestion due to common cold, hay fever, or other respiratory allergies in children. Nasoloc-P Nasal Drops is a nasal decongestant that helps in opening up the nasal passages by reducing excessive nasal secretions and also reducing the swelling in the blood vessels in the inner surface of the nose. This provides temporary relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose.

Can I give Nasoloc-P Nasal Drops to my child continuously for more than 2 weeks if he has on and off nasal congestion?
Do not give Nasoloc-P Nasal Drops to your child for longer than 10 consecutive days, as this may lead to complications such as "atrophic rhinitis". It is also important not to abruptly stop the medicine, as this could cause ‘rebound congestion’ in your child. Always follow the prescribed dosing schedule.
What if I accidentally give my child too much of Nasoloc-P Nasal Drops?
An overdose of Nasoloc-P Nasal Drops can cause severe dizziness, perspiration, significantly lowered body temperature, headache, bradycardia (slow heart rate), hypertension (high blood pressure), respiratory depression (difficulty breathing), coma, and convulsions. It may even lead to a high blood pressure followed by a drop in blood pressure. Children are more sensitive to the effects of medications than adults, so it is crucial to seek immediate medical attention from your child’s doctor if this occurs.
How should I administer Nasoloc-P Nasal Drops to my child?
Before applying Nasoloc-P Nasal Drops, make sure your child clears their nose by blowing gently. Then, have them lie down and tilt their head back as far as comfortable. If lying on a bed, ensure the head is positioned over the side. Open the cap of the medicine container and apply the drops to each nostril without touching the nozzle. After that, keep the head tilted for a short time for the medication to be distributed evenly in the nose. Replace the cap right after use. If the drop misses the nose completely, administer the second dose. Avoid administering again if any part of the drop comes into contact with the inside of the nose.
When should I contact my child’s doctor right away?
Contact your child’s doctor immediately if they experience symptoms like insomnia, dizziness, tremor, an irregular heartbeat, or elevated blood pressure after using Nasoloc-P Nasal Drops.
Can I give other medications at the same time as Nasoloc-P Nasal Drops?
Nasoloc-P Nasal Drops may interact with other medicines or substances. Before starting Nasoloc-P Nasal Drops, tell your child’s doctor about all the medications they are currently taking. Additionally, it is important to consult your child's doctor before administering any medication.
What position should I use for my child while he is having a stuffy nose?
To sleep with a stuffy nose, have your child lie on their back with a pillow to promote mucus drainage. Avoid placing them on the side as this may worsen congestion in one or both nostrils.
Use the medicine as directed by your doctor. Do not give more than the recommended dose as it can lead to side effects. Do not use it more than 3 times a day.
