Myospas Tablet is a combination of two medicines used in the treatment of pain due to muscle spasms. Myospas Tablet may be taken with or without food. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by your doctor. Using this medicine can cause some common side effects such as stomach upset, dizziness, weakness, and sleepiness. How it works

Myospas Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Paracetamol and Chlorzoxazone which relieves pain and relax the muscles. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and fever. Chlorzoxazone is a muscle relaxant. It works by acting on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve the muscle stiffness or spasm.

Direction of use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Myospas Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

• It is usually used along with rest and physical therapy.
• Avoid consuming alcohol when taking Myospas Tablet as it may cause excessive drowsiness and increase the risk of liver damage.
• Older adults may have increased drowsiness, confusion, and higher risk of falling while taking Myospas Tablet.
• Do not take it with any other medicine containing acetaminophen (drugs for pain/fever or cough-and-cold) without asking your doctor first.
