Mymarda 24mg/26mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines used to treat heart failure. It is generally given along with other heart failure medications.
Mymarda 24mg/26mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Sacubitril and Valsartan which belong to a class of angiotensin receptor neprilysin inhibitor (ARNI).This combination treats heart failure by relaxing the blood vessels and making it easier for your heart to pump blood throughout your body.It also helps your body retain less water
Who should avoid taking Mymarda 24mg/26mg Tablet?
Patients with a known allergy to any component of Mymarda 24mg/26mg Tablet should avoid taking it. Additionally, individuals with a history of allergy to ACE inhibitors or ARBs should also avoid using this medication. Furthermore, it is not recommended to use Mymarda 24mg/26mg Tablet in combination with other antihypertensive medications like ACE inhibitors or ARBs. If you are unsure, consult your doctor before taking the medication.
What should I tell my doctor before taking Mymarda 24mg/26mg Tablet?
Before taking Mymarda 24mg/26mg Tablet, inform your doctor about any pre-existing medical conditions, including liver or kidney disease, and a history of facial swelling (angioedema). Also, disclose if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. How would I know if I have high potassium levels?
Your doctor will regularly check your blood potassium levels to detect high potassium levels (hyperkalemia). It is essential to attend all scheduled appointments with your doctor to monitor your potassium levels.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.Swallow it as a whole.Do not chew, crush or break it.Mymarda 24mg/26mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time
- You have been prescribed Mymarda 24mg/26mg Tablet for the treatment of long-lasting (chronic) heart failure
- You should continue to stay active (light walking and stretching) and eat a healthy low sodium diet along with taking this medication
- It may cause the level of potassium in your blood to go up. Avoid taking potassium supplements and potassium-rich foods such as banana and broccoli
- Inform your doctor if you have a history of liver or kidney diseases
- Do not take Mymarda 24mg/26mg Tablet if you are pregnant or breastfeeding
Alcohol
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Mymarda 24mg/26mg Tablet.
Breastfeed

Pregnancy
