What precautions should a female follow while taking Mycell S Tablet DR?
Do not take Mycell S Tablet DR if you are pregnant or planning pregnancy. This medication can cause miscarriage (loss of pregnancy) in the first 3 months. It may also lead to birth defects in your baby. Use two forms of reliable birth control for four weeks before starting treatment, during treatment and for six weeks after stopping treatment. Your doctor will recommend the best methods for you.
What precautions should a male follow while taking Mycell S Tablet DR?
Both you and your partner must use reliable contraception during treatment and for 90 days following treatment. Men should not donate semen during the therapy or for 90 days after discontinuation of Mycell S Tablet DR.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Mycell S Tablet DR may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
- Take it with food to minimize possible side effects like nausea and stomach pain
- Avoid contact with people who have an infection and consult your doctor immediately if you develop a sore throat, high temperature, or any other signs of infections
- Protect yourself from direct sunlight by wearing protective clothing and applying a sunscreen with a high sun protection factor (SPF)
- Your doctor may get regular blood tests done to monitor the levels of blood cells in your blood. Inform your doctor if you experience symptoms such as unexplained bruising or bleeding, sore throat, mouth ulcers, or fever

Mycell S Tablet DR is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.
