Mucoway LS Syrup is a combination medicine used in the treatment of cough with mucus.

Mucoway LS Syrup is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect or be affected by this medicine.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Mucoway LS Syrup may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Mucoway LS Syrup is a combination of three medicines: Ambroxol, Levosalbutamol, and Guaifenesin which relieves cough with mucus.
Mucoway LS Syrup may cause dizziness and sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how it affects you. Monitor your blood glucose regularly while taking this medicine if you are diabetic. Inform your doctor if you have a history of thyroid or heart disease. Stop taking Mucoway LS Syrup and inform your doctor if your cough persists for more than 1 week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by a fever, rash, or persistent headache.
Mucoway LS Syrup contains Ambroxol, Levosalbutamol/Levalbuterol, and Guaifenesin. It's used to treat coughs with mucus. Ambroxol is a mucolytic agent that thins and loosens mucus for easier coughing out. Levosalbutamol is a bronchodilator that relaxes airway muscles and widens the airways. Guaifenesin is an expectorant that decreases the stickiness of mucus and aids in its removal from airways.
Mucoway LS Syrup is generally considered safe for most patients. However, some may experience side effects like nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, allergic reactions, dizziness, headache, rash, urticaria, tremors, palpitations, muscle cramps, and an increased heart rate. If you notice persistent problems while taking this medicine, consult your doctor immediately.
Mucoway LS Syrup is harmful for patients with a history of allergy to any of its active or inactive ingredients. It's also generally not advised to combine Levosalbutamol and beta-blockers like propranolol.
Yes, Mucoway LS Syrup can cause dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady, or lightheaded) in some patients. If you experience dizziness, rest and resume when feeling better. Do not drive or operate machinery.
Yes, Mucoway LS Syrup can induce diarrhea. If experiencing diarrhea, drink plenty of fluids. In case of persistent diarrhea and signs of dehydration like reduced urination (dark-colored and strong-smelling urine), consult your doctor immediately. Do not take other medications without consulting your doctor.
Store Mucoway LS Syrup in its original container, tightly closed. Follow the instructions on the label or packaging. Dispose of unused medication and do not give it to pets, children, or other individuals.
