Moxbio CV Kid Tablet is an antibiotic medicine that helps treat bacterial infections of the ear, nose, throat, chest, lungs, teeth, skin, and urinary tract. Moxbio CV Kid Tablet is an antibiotic medicine that helps treat bacterial infections of the ear, nose, throat, chest, lungs, teeth, skin, and urinary tract. It is capable of killing bacteria that have become resistant to other therapies and thus also helps treat tuberculosis that is resistant to other treatments.
Moxbio CV Kid Tablet is an antibiotic. It has two active agents amoxycillin and clavulanic acid. Amoxycillin works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) essential for the survival of the bacteria. Whereas clavulanic acid serves a special purpose of inhibiting an enzyme (beta-lactamase) that is produced by resistant bacteria. This makes the combination of amoxycillin and clavulanic acid an effective line of treatment for many types of infections.
Can other medicines be given at the same time as Moxbio CV Kid Tablet?
Moxbio CV Kid Tablet may interact with other medications or substances. Consult your child's doctor about all medications before starting Moxbio CV Kid Tablet to ensure safety and prevent potential interactions.
Can I get my child vaccinated while on treatment with Moxbio CV Kid Tablet?
Generally, antibiotics do not interfere with vaccine ingredients or cause a negative reaction in children who have been recently vaccinated. However, it is crucial to wait until your child recovers from the infection before administering any medication after the onset of symptoms.
Which lab tests may my child undergo while taking Moxbio CV Kid Tablet on a long-term basis?
Depending on the duration and severity of treatment, your doctor might periodically monitor kidney and liver function in children on long-term therapy with Moxbio CV Kid Tablet.
Can I give a higher than the recommended dose of Moxbio CV Kid Tablet to my child?
It is not advisable to exceed the prescribed dosage of this medication. Increasing the dose may increase the risk of potential side effects. If your child's symptoms worsen, contact your doctor for further guidance and reevaluation.

Can the use of Moxbio CV Kid Tablet cause diarrhea?
Yes, Moxbio CV Kid Tablet can potentially cause diarrhea. It is an antibiotic that targets harmful bacteria. The medication might also affect the beneficial bacteria in your child's stomach, leading to diarrhea. Encourage them to consume plenty of fluids if they experience diarrhea. If it persists or you notice any signs of dehydration (decreased urination, dark-colored and strong-smelling urine), consult a doctor before administering any other medicine.
Do all viral common colds result in secondary bacterial infection?
Most viral colds do not lead to bacterial infections. However, it is essential to avoid using antibiotics unless prescribed by a doctor for a confirmed bacterial infection.
The mucus coming out of my child’s nose is yellow-green. Is it a sign of a bacterial infection?
Yellow or green mucus in the nose is not necessarily an indication that antibiotics are required during a common cold. The thickness and color of the mucus may change naturally as your child's body fights off the virus. Symptoms usually last for 7-10 days.
Is there any sign which shows that my child needs immediate medical attention?
You should contact your child’s doctor immediately if they experience severe allergic reactions (difficulty breathing, skin rashes), gastrointestinal issues (diarrhea), or liver damage (weakness, paleness, vomiting). These side effects can be serious and require expert medical intervention.
Your child must complete the entire course of antibiotics. Stopping too soon may cause the bacteria to multiply again or cause another infection.
