Montair 5mg Chewable Tablet Strawberry is used to prevent asthma attacks in children, ease breathing difficulties caused by strenuous physical activities, and treat seasonal allergies such as runny nose, sneezing, and itchy or watery eyes. Montair 5mg Chewable Tablet Strawberry is a leukotriene antagonist that works by blocking a chemical messenger (leukotriene). This reduces inflammation (swelling) in the airways and nose and improves symptoms. It is used to prevent asthma attacks in children, ease breathing difficulties caused by strenuous physical activities, and treat seasonal allergies such as runny nose, sneezing, and itchy or watery eyes.
Montair 5mg Chewable Tablet Strawberry is a leukotriene antagonist that works by blocking a chemical messenger (leukotriene). This reduces inflammation (swelling) in the airways and nose and improves symptoms.
Montair 5mg Chewable Tablet Strawberry helps prevent asthma attacks. Never use it to stop an attack that has already started as the medicine may not work for such cases.
- Make sure you keep all other rescue medicines handy for your child in case of any respiratory distress.
- If your child is taking inhaled corticosteroids, taper down the dose gradually only after the advice of the doctor.
- Never increase or decrease the dose of Montair 5mg Chewable Tablet Strawberry on your own as it can harm your child.
- Never combine Montair 5mg Chewable Tablet Strawberry with other cold and flu medicines as that may cause some side effects.
- If you are giving Montair 5mg Chewable Tablet Strawberry to your child for asthma or allergy, you need not give another dose to prevent exercise-induced breathing problems. In case of any confusion, consult your child’s doctor as soon as possible.
- Make sure that you always have enough medicine.
- Never give medicines meant for adults to children as they can harm.
- Practice self-care tips: Abstain your child from coming in contact with allergens. Encourage your child to wear a face mask and avoid dusty places. Give plenty of fluids to your child as that helps in thinning and loosening the mucus in the lungs.
