Miradex Cream is a combination of three skin protecting agents. Dimethicone forms a layer to slow down the evaporation of water. It also acts as a skin protectant that helps to treat and prevent irritation due to diaper rash and seals out the moisture from the diaper area. It temporarily protects and helps prevent chafed, cracked, chapped, or windburned skin. Light kaolin absorbs excess oil from the skin surface without removing the essential oil. Zinc oxide provides a physical barrier to prevent skin irritation and helps heal damaged skin.
Apply Miradex Cream onto a clean, dry, unbroken infected area of skin. Applying just after taking a bath/shower is best since it helps the skin absorb the cream better. Do not cover the area being treated with airtight dressings such as bandages unless directed by a doctor. It may take several weeks to show its action. Keep using it as suggested by your doctor. Avoid contact with your eyes, nose, or mouth. Rinse it off with water if you accidentally get the cream in these areas.
