Meztec 1.2g Tablet PR is an aminosalicylate used to treat mild inflammatory bowel disease such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn's ileocolitis. It works by suppressing the production of chemical messengers that cause inflammation in the intestines. The dose will depend on what you are being treated for, but take it exactly as your doctor prescribes. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early, your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen.
