Metsmall 1000 Tablet SR is used for treating type 2 diabetes and PCOS. It helps control blood sugar and is often prescribed to improve symptoms of excess hormone production in PCOS. Metsmall 1000 Tablet SR is used to treat type 2 diabetes and PCOS in women. It helps control blood sugar levels and can be smaller and lighter than regular metformin, aiding adherence.
It is an anti-diabetic medication (biguanide). It works by lowering glucose production in the liver, delaying absorption of glucose from the intestines, and increasing sensitivity to insulin.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Swallow it whole. Do not chew, crush, or break. Take it with or after food.
- Risk of weight gain and low blood sugar is lower compared to other diabetes medicines.
- Carry a sugar source for immediate relief if you experience hypoglycemia (low blood sugar).
