Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Metosartan LN 50 Tablet ER is to be taken with food.

Tips

• Take it at the same time every day to help you remember to take it.
• A sudden drop in your blood pressure may occur especially when you first start taking this medicine. To lower the chance of feeling dizzy or passing out, rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down.
• It can cause ankle or foot swelling. Raise your legs while you are sitting down and talk to your doctor if it does not go away.
• It may cause the level of potassium in blood to go up. Avoid taking potassium supplements and potassium-rich foods such as banana and broccoli.
• Do not stop taking Metosartan LN 50 Tablet ER suddenly without talking to your doctor.
