Met XL 3D 50/12.5 Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) by relaxing blood vessels and making the heart more efficient. Met XL 3D 50/12.5 Tablet can be taken with or without food, but take it at the same time to get the most benefit. It makes you lose excess water through urine, hence try to take it at day time or 4 hours before bedtime to avoid frequent urination at night. It should be taken as your doctor's advice. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you.
Met XL 3D 50/12.5 Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Chlorthalidone, Metoprolol Succinate and Telmisartan which lower blood pressure effectively.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Met XL 3D 50/12.5 Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
- Do not stop taking Met XL 3D 50/12.5 Tablet suddenly without talking to your doctor.
- It may cause dehydration. Drink plenty of fluids and Inform your doctor if you develop extreme thirst, muscle weakness or very dry mouth.
