Mecosule MF Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat peripheral neuropathy in adult patients, preventing megaloblastic or pernicious anaemia and its associated symptoms. Mecosule MF Tablet is a combination medicine containing pregabalin and methylcobalamin. It is used to treat peripheral neuropathy in adult patients, preventing megaloblastic or pernicious anaemia that can lead to weakness, fatigue, numbness of fingers, toes, and problems in thinking. Pregabalin is an anticonvulsant and neuropathic pain agent, effective for partial seizures, postherpetic neuralgia, and fibromyalgia. Methylcobalamin is used to prevent and treat low vitamin B12.
The exact mechanism of action of Mecosule MF Tablet is not fully understood, but pregabalin is believed to work by binding to specific receptors in the brain and nervous system, while methylcobalamin is used to prevent and treat low vitamin B12.
