M IT 200mg Tablet is a prescription medication used to treat various fungal infections caused by Trichophyton spp., Microsporum spp., and Epidermophyton floccosum. These include ringworm, infection of the feet, and infection in the groin and buttocks. It is also used for persistent infections of fingernails and toenails, persistent candida (yeast) infections of the vagina or mouth/throat in patients with lower disease resistance. It's also used to treat cryptococcal infection and infections caused by Histoplasma, Aspergillus, and Blastomyces.
For how long do I need to take M IT 200mg Tablet?
The dose duration depends on the type and site of fungal infection and your response to treatment. For example, athlete's foot (fungal infection of the skin on the feet and between the toes), the treatment might last for up to 30 days. However, if treating a candidal infection in the vagina, the dosage may span from 1 day to 3 days depending on what your doctor advises.
