Lycoprost SP Tablet is an antioxidant preparation containing Pygeum Africanum, used to treat bladder pains, micturition problems, and benign prostatic hypertrophy. Lycoprost SP Tablet is an antioxidant preparation containing Pygeum Africanum, a phytotherapeutic product extracted from the bark of Pygeum Africanum Hooker, a tree found in South and Central Africa. Pygeum extract is a natural association of substances like phytosterols, pentacyclic tritepenes, and ferulic acid esters of fatty alcohols, with synergistic pharmacological effects on the prostate. These constituents are endowed with anti-inflammatory, anti-edema, and anti-proliferative actions on the prostate.
