What is Lxicuf LS Syrup?
Lxicuf LS Syrup is a combination medication containing Ambroxol, Levosalbutamol/Levalbuterol, and Guaifenesin. It's prescribed for the treatment of coughs accompanied by mucus (phlegm). Ambroxol is a mucolytic agent, thinning and loosening mucus, facilitating easier coughing. Levosalbutamol acts as a bronchodilator, relaxing airway muscles to widen them. Guaifenesin works as an expectorant, decreasing mucus stickiness and aiding removal from airways.
Is Lxicuf LS Syrup safe to use?
Lxicuf LS Syrup is generally considered safe for most patients. However, it may cause common side effects like nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, allergic reactions, dizziness, headache, rash, urticaria, tremor, palpitations, muscle cramps, and increased heart rate in some individuals.
