Lulimac XL Cream is an antifungal medication that treats skin infections. It kills the infection-causing fungi by destroying their cell membrane. This relieves discomfort, itching, and irritation on the skin.
Keep your feet clean and dry, particularly between the toes. Cut your nails short and prefer open-toe shoes for everyday use. Use a separate clean towel for the feet and wear clean cotton socks. Never share your socks, shoes, and towel with others. Apply an amount sufficient to cover the affected area and 1 inch of the immediate surrounding skin.
Lulimac XL Cream is generally not recommended for use during pregnancy, as there is limited data available on its safety in this population. If the benefits of using the cream outweigh the risks, consult your healthcare provider to discuss the potential consequences and make an informed decision.
Lulimac XL Cream has fungicidal properties, meaning it can kill fungi by disrupting their cell membranes. It achieves this through the reduction of ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes.
Use Lulimac XL Cream as directed by your healthcare provider. For athlete's foot between the toes, apply a thin layer to affected skin areas and extend coverage to 1 inch of surrounding skin daily for 2 weeks. For jock itch or ringworm, follow the same application instructions but for 1 week. Always wash hands after applying the cream.
Treatment results vary depending on the specific condition being treated. Typically, symptoms of athlete's foot between the toes resolve within 4 weeks, but it may take up to 6 weeks in some cases. For jock itch and ringworm, noticeable improvements are usually observed within 3-4 weeks.
Keep Lulimac XL Cream in its original container, tightly sealed, out of reach of children. Store it at room temperature (20°C to 25°C) away from direct light and moisture.
Lulimac XL Cream is generally considered safe and effective for use in children aged 2 years or older, with observed safety and effectiveness comparable to that seen in adults.
