Lubert-CMC Eye/Ear Drop is an eye lubricant or artificial tears used to relieve dry eyes by maintaining proper lubrication of the eyes. Lubert-CMC Eye/Ear Drop is usually taken when needed. Use the number of drops as advised by your doctor. Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering any other medication in the same eye to avoid dilution. Do not use a bottle if the seal is broken before you open it. Always wash your hands and do not touch the end of the dropper. This could infect your eye. This medicine may require long-term use and can be taken safely for as long as you need it.

Lubert-CMC Eye/Ear Drop is a tear substitute. It provides relief for dry eyes by lubricating the eye(s) and reducing burning, irritation, and discomfort associated with dryness.

How should Lubert-CMC Eye/Ear Drop be stored?
Store at or below 25°C and keep it out of reach of children. Do not touch the tip of the container to any surface. Replace the cap after each use.
How should Lubert-CMC Eye/Ear Drop be used?
For dry eyes: Instil 1 or 2 drops into affected eye(s) as needed. For lubricating soft and rigid gas-permeable lenses: Apply 1 to 2 drops to each eye with the lenses on as needed, following your doctor's instructions. Blink several times after applying the drops.
Is Lubert-CMC Eye/Ear Drop bad?
Lubert-CMC Eye/Ear Drop is a generally safe medicine for external use only and should not cause harm. However, in some individuals, it may cause eye irritation (e.g., burning and discomfort) or pain, itchy eyes, and visual disturbances. Seek immediate medical attention if any of these adverse effects persist.
This medicine is for external use only. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid.

- It stabilizes the natural tear film and maintains necessary lubrication so your eyes don’t get dry and irritated.
- May require long-term use.
- Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute immediately after instilling the drop.
- Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution of this medicine.
- Stinging sensation may occur for 1-2 minutes. Notify your doctor if it persists for longer.
