Lora M Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat allergy symptoms such as runny nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, watery eyes, and congestion. Lora M Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of allergy symptoms such as runny nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, watery eyes and congestion or stuffiness.
Lora M Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Desloratadine and Montelukast. Desloratadine is an antiallergic which blocks the action of a chemical messenger (histamine) responsible for runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist. It works by blocking the action of another chemical messenger (leukotriene). This reduces inflammation (swelling) in the airways and nose and improves symptoms.
Can Lora M Tablet be stopped when allergy symptoms are relieved?
No, Lora M Tablet should be continued as advised by the doctor. If you experience any problem due to Lora M Tablet, consult the doctor for re-evaluation.
Can the use of Lora M Tablet cause dry mouth?
Yes, the use of Lora M Tablet can cause dry mouth. If you experience dry mouth, drink plenty of water. Take regular sips during the day and keep some water by your bed at night. You may use lip balm if your lips are also dry.
What should be avoided while taking Lora M Tablet?
Do not take it with any fruit juices including apple, orange or grapefruit, as they might make the drug less effective. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking Lora M Tablet. Drinking alcohol will increase the severity of drowsiness or sleepiness caused by Lora M Tablet.
Will Lora M Tablet be more effective if taken in higher doses?
No, taking more of this medicine will not make it more effective, rather it can increase the risks of side effects. If the symptoms are getting severe, please consult the doctor for re-evaluation.
Can I use Lora M Tablet while breastfeeding?
No, Lora M Tablet cannot be recommended to breastfeeding mothers. Inform your doctor if you are breastfeeding the baby.

- Dry mouth may occur as a side effect. Frequent mouth rinses, good oral hygiene, increased water intake, and sugarless candy may help.
- Stop taking Lora M Tablet at least three days before taking an allergy test as it can affect the test results.
Alcohol
