Introduction

Livpalm S Softgel Capsule is a combination of two medicines that work by protecting the liver from harmful chemical substances. It is used to treat liver disease and should be taken in the dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Livpalm S Softgel Capsule may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Livpalm S Softgel Capsule is a combination of two medicines. L-Ornithine L-Aspartate is a combination of two amino acids which works by protecting the liver from harmful chemical substances (free radicals) thus preventing liver damage. Silymarin is an active principle obtained from milk thistle seed (Silybum marianum). It might protect liver cells from toxic chemicals and drugs. It also seems to have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.

Livpalm S Softgel Capsule protects the liver cells from toxins and helps the liver to perform its normal functions. Your doctor may monitor your liver function and bilirubin levels every month for the next 3 months after the start of therapy and every 6 months thereafter. You will be regularly monitored for blood creatinine and blood/urine urea levels while on treatment with Livpalm S Softgel Capsule. Smoking and drinking should be avoided as it further degrades liver functioning. Healthy diet and regular exercise should be followed. Regular monitoring of liver function and bilirubin levels is important.
