Lacopsy 50mg Tablet is used to control and prevent epilepsy (seizures) by decreasing the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain. Lacopsy 50mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time each day. If you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember as it can be life-threatening in some cases. You should finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better and always consult your doctor before stopping this medicine as it may increase seizure frequency. Inform your doctor if you have any heart-related problems before starting your treatment with this medicine. The use of this medicine may cause some side effects such as headaches, dizziness, dry mouth, muscle spasms, blurred vision, nausea, diplopia (double vision). Most of these side effects are self-limiting and they usually improve with time. Keep a watch on your weight as using this medicine can cause weight gain. Eat healthily and exercise regularly to manage it.
