Klazin 250 Tablet is an antibiotic used to treat various types of infections. Klazin 250 Tablet is also effective against some infections (e.g. MAC or Mycobacterium avium complex) seen in people with reduced immunity. It stops the bacteria from growing which helps to resolve your symptoms and cure your infection. This medicine is taken orally, preferably either one hour before or 2 hours after a meal. No antacids should be taken within 2 hours of taking this medicine. It should be used regularly at evenly spaced time intervals as prescribed by your doctor. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping the medicine too early may lead to the infection returning or worsening.
Klazin 250 Tablet is an antibiotic. It works by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Thus it stops the bacteria from growing and prevents the infection from spreading.
Does Klazin 250 Tablet cause diarrhea?
Yes, Klazin 250 Tablet can cause diarrhea. It is an antibiotic that kills harmful bacteria. However, it also affects the beneficial bacteria in your stomach or intestine, leading to diarrhea. If you experience severe diarrhea, consult your doctor about it.
How long does Klazin 250 Tablet take to work?
Klazin 250 Tablet usually starts working soon after taking it. However, it may take a few days for all harmful bacteria to be killed and for you to feel better.
What if I don't get better after using Klazin 250 Tablet?

Can Klazin 250 Tablet cause infertility?
There is currently no conclusive evidence that suggests Klazin 250 Tablet will cause infertility in either men or women.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Klazin 250 Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
- Your doctor has prescribed Klazin 250 Tablet to cure your infection and improve your symptoms.
- Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
- Take it 1 hour before or two hours after food.
- Do not take antacids 2 hours before or after taking Klazin 250 Tablet.
- Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete.
- Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools.
- Stop taking Klazin 250 Tablet and inform your doctor immediately if you develop an itchy rash, swelling of the face, throat or tongue or breathing difficulties while taking it.

Alcohol
Consuming alcohol with Klazin 250 Tablet does not cause any harmful side effects.
Breastfeed
Klazin 250 Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Pregnancy
Klazin 250 Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
