Directions for Use

Safety Information

Side Effects

No common side effects listed.

How it works

Ketopar D Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines: Ketorolac and Dexamethasone. Ketorolac a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) and Dexamethasone is a steroid medicine. They work together by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling) in the eye.

Quick Tips

Ketopar D Eye Drop is prescribed for the treatment of allergic conjunctivitis and eye pain after any eye surgery. Use it twice a day (in the morning and the evening). If your symptoms are particularly severe, your doctor may suggest you use them up to four times a day. Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute immediately after putting the medication. Do not wear contact lenses until your infection clears up or your eyes heal completely after surgery. Your eyes can become more sensitive to sunlight than usual post eye infections or surgery. Wearing sunglasses may help to prevent this. Along with using Ketopar D Eye Drop, give a warm compress to your eyes to get relief from itching and burning sensation.
