Ketonid MR 50mg/4mg Tablet should be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for longer duration than recommended by your doctor. Some of the common side effects of this medicine include nausea, indigestion, heartburn, and stomach pain. If any of these side effects bother you or do not go away with time, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent these side effects.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ketonid MR 50mg/4mg Tablet is to be taken with food.

Ketonid MR 50mg/4mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Ketoprofen and Thiocolchicoside which relieve pain and relax the muscles. Ketoprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant. It works by acting on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and to improve pain and movement of muscles.
Take it with or after food or a glass of milk to avoid an upset stomach. Inform your doctor if you have a history of seizures. Inform your doctor if you have a history of heart disease or stroke. Along with taking Ketonid MR 50mg/4mg Tablet, your doctor might advise you to undergo physiotherapy to get relief from muscle pain.
