IT Mac 200mg Tablet is an antifungal medication used to treat various types of fungal infections caused by Trichophyton spp., Microsporum spp., and Epidermophyton floccosum. It can treat conditions such as ringworm, foot infections, groin and buttocks infections, persistent fingernail and toenail infections, and candidiasis (yeast) infections in the vagina or mouth/throat in patients with lower disease resistance. IT Mac 200mg Tablet is also used to treat cryptococcal infection and fungal infections caused by Histoplasma, aspergillus, and Blastomyces.
For how long do I need to take IT Mac 200mg Tablet?
The duration of treatment with IT Mac 200mg Tablet depends on the specific type and location of infection. For athlete's foot, it might require 30 days. However, for vaginal candidiasis, treatment can range from one day to three days depending on the prescribed dosage by the doctor.
