Hyospan 20mg Injection is used to relieve pain due to smooth muscle spasm, cramps in the stomach, intestine, bladder, and ureter, and symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome. Hyospan 20mg Injection is an anticholinergic medication that works by relaxing the muscles in the stomach and gut (intestine). It is generally administered by your doctor or nurse. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early, your symptoms may come back, and your condition may worsen. Let your doctor know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect or be affected by this medicine.

Alcohol
Hyospan 20mg Injection may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.
Breastfeed
Hyospan 20mg Injection is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Pregnancy
Hyospan 20mg Injection may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you.
