It’s a fast-acting type of insulin that helps to lower blood sugar levels after meals and reduce the chances of developing serious complications of diabetes.

- Do not share your insulin device with other people, even if the needle has been changed.
- Opened vials / cartridges stay good at room temperature for up to 4 weeks while unopened vials must be placed in the refrigerator (2°C–8°C).
- Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar level) may occur when taken along with other antidiabetic medicines, alcohol, or on delaying/skipping a meal. Carry a sugar source with you for immediate relief.
Alcohol
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Humalog Mix 25 Kwikpen 100IU/ml.
Breastfeed
Humalog Mix 25 Kwikpen 100IU/ml should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
Pregnancy
Humalog Mix 25 Kwikpen 100IU/ml is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
