How it works

Halonext 3S Lotion is a combination of two medicines: Halobetasol and Salicylic Acid which treat eczema and psoriasis. Halobetasol is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen, and itchy. Salicylic Acid is a keratolytic medicine which breaks down keratin clumps, removes dead skin cells, and softens the skin. It also enhances the absorption of Halobetasol into the skin.

Direction of use

This medicine is for external use only. Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Shake it well and apply to the area evenly.

Tips

• Halonext 3S Lotion is used to treat the redness, swelling, itching, and discomfort of various skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis.
• Apply to the affected areas as a thin film two or three times daily or as advised by your doctor.
• Don't cover the area being treated with airtight dressings such as bandages unless directed by a doctor as this may increase the risk of side effects.
• After you have applied Halonext 3S Lotion, remember to wash your hands (unless your hands are the treated area).
• Use a mild moisturizer regularly to overcome skin dryness during the course of treatment.
• Consult your doctor if your skin condition has not improved after 2 weeks of treatment.
