What is Gritus LS Syrup?
Gritus LS Syrup is a combination of Ambroxol, Levosalbutamol / Levalbuterol, and Guaifenesin. It is used for the treatment of cough with mucus. Ambroxol is a mucolytic agent that thins and loosens the phlegm (mucus), making it easier to cough out. Levosalbutamol is a bronchodilator, which relaxes the muscles in the airways and widens them. Guaifenesin is an expectorant that decreases the stickiness of the phlegm (mucus) and helps remove it from the airways.
Is Gritus LS Syrup safe to use?
Gritus LS Syrup is generally considered safe for most patients. However, some may experience common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, allergic reactions, dizziness, headache, rash, urticaria, tremor, palpitations, muscle cramps, and increased heart rate.
