Some bacteria that can be killed by Glytobra Eye Ointment include Staphylococcus aureus and Staphylococcus epidermidis, certain Streptococcus species, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Enterobacter aerogenes, Proteus mirabilis, Morganella morganii, most Proteus vulgaris strains, Haemophilus influenzae, and H. aegyptius, Moraxella lacunata, Acinetobacter calcoaceticus, and some Neisseria species. It is important to consult with your doctor to determine the suitability of this medicine for your specific condition.
How long should I use Glytobra Eye Ointment?
Your doctor will decide the duration of treatment, which depends on the severity of the infection. For mild to moderate eye infections, your doctor might advise using 1-2 drops four times a day for a period of time. If you have severe eye infections, you may be prescribed to use two drops every hour. Do not exceed or underuse the prescribed amount. Make sure you follow your doctor's instructions precisely.
How should I use Glytobra Eye Ointment?
Wash your hands before using the eye drops. Avoid touching the dropper tip against your eye or any other surface. Tilt your head slightly, and instill one drop with precision. Keep your eyes closed for 2-3 minutes with your head tilted down to prevent blinking or squinting. Gently press your finger against the inside corner of your eye for approximately 1 minute. If you use more than one drop, wait around five minutes before applying the next drop. Wait at least ten minutes before using any other eye drops prescribed by your doctor.
