It is used to lower the levels of lipids known as cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood when lifestyle changes (eg. low-fat diet) on their own have failed. This medicine helps to reduce the risk of heart disease.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Gatovas F 20mg/160mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
- Notify your doctor if you experience muscle symptoms (pain or weakness) particularly if accompanied with fever.
- Notify your doctor if you experience stomach pain, loss of hunger, a sick feeling or dark urine.
- Do not discontinue Gatovas F 20mg/160mg Tablet without consulting your doctor even if you feel better.
- Avoid alcohol consumption (includes wine, beer, and liquor).

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Gatovas F 20mg/160mg Tablet.
Breastfeed
