Gamapro Lotion is a combination medicine used to treat scabies and kill head lice. Gamapro Lotion is a combination medicine that is used to treat scabies. It kills the tiny insects (mites) and their eggs. It also kills head lice. It is prescribed for the treatment of scabies (a condition where tiny insects infest and irritate your skin).
Gamapro Lotion is a combination of two medicines: Lindane and Cetrimide. It works kills microorganisms that cause scabies. It is also potent in paralyzing and killing the lice and their eggs.
This medicine is for external use only. Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Shake it well and apply to the area evenly.
- Apply a thin layer of this medicine all over the body and leave it for 8-14 hours before taking a bath or shower.
- Avoid getting it in your eyes, nose, or mouth. If this happens, rinse with water immediately.
- You will still be itchy for a while after successful treatment. If the itching becomes troublesome to you, consult your doctor to ease this. Moisturizing creams can provide temporary relief from itching.
- Clothes, towels, and bed linen should be machine-washed with hot water after the first application of treatment. This helps kills the scabies mites.
